House & Garden Tours
When you visit Trereife House and garden, you’re in for a treat. Our tours, led by the owner of the house and descendent of the original owners, Tim le Grice, will give you a fascinating insight into the estate’s Queen Anne architecture, history and previous owners.
To find out how we are linked with the romantic poets, why the House now faces a different direction to when it was built, about the time we became a filmset and hosted famous actors, and about the unusual medlar jelly produced on the estate, visit us and join a tour.
Trereife is open for day trips in the summer season for groups of five or more and by appointment in the winter, at 2pm on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
House tour: £7.00 (One hour approx)
Garden: £3 (Voluntary donation)
Please note: regrettably we are unable to conduct tours of the house to groups of fewer than five people. If possible, contact us 24 hours in advance of your visit by by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01736 362750
We welcome coach tours and other groups to Trereife and offer reduced rates for 10-30 people. You can also book tours to suit your schedule, outside of our normal open days.
You’ll enjoy ample coach parking and easy access off the A30.
We enjoyed our stay. Good central location for the area. St Michaels Mount, lands end, cape Cornwall as well as Penzance. I would imagine even more lovely during spring and summer.”
